This is really just a casual easy going modeling tutorial forum for Caligari Truespace 3D modeling software. It features how to use TS to make 3D models with the software itself. You'll also find downloable files in the form of file attachments to some posts as well a some free 3D models uploaded by forum members. In addition to the main forum it has several sub forums for other Caligari modeling software like Caligari Gamespace 3D. We also have forums for Battlezone II Combat Commander, VRML modeling, and Unreal Tournament modeling plugins for Truespace. The original forum is about a year old now but is still actively maintained by my self as a general teaching aid to other people interested in 3D modleing in general. I welcome you all and encourage interested people to join the forum and share with others what you like about the art of creating things in three dimentional art forms. The forum is under going constant changes to make it more fun and useful for forum members and web users who happen to stumble across us on the Internet. Caligari Truespace and Gamespace TSX Plugin Thread.

This would be a good place to add available TSX plugins for members to share with others. I have quite a few of these small but very useful addons for Caligari 3D modeling software. Some are version specific so may or may not work on different software versions. A tip for those new to addons would be to unzip the files to your installation folder labelled TSX. To load the plugins into the modeler look for an icon similar to an electrical outlet and left click it and locate the plugin folder labelled TSX. Then select the TSX file and click open. A new icon will appear on the same menu bar and left click the icon to activate the new plugin. It is advised that only a few plugins be loaded at any time. To remove inactive plugins from the menu bar left click and drag the icon to the recycle bin; it won't delete the plugin but will remove it from the menu bar.

This plugin is great for converting hiearchial multi-objectmodels into a single object mesh. ASE supports this type of UDK model format.

Bones to Vertex TSX

This plugin will convert a bone animation to a purely vertex animation. Use it where vertex animation is required.

This plugin will let you zoom in to any area in the model workspace.

This plugin can create trees along with branches, leaves, and trunk. There are settings for the number of branches, leaves and trunks.

Primitive Itch Primal Particles TS 5 TSX Plugin.

I believe this plugin is used for generating particle fields. Anyways, the plugin will run under TS 6.6 as well.
