As far as I know there are no officially sanctioned versions sponsered by the now defunct Caligari Corporation or it's new owner Microsoft Corporation. If your very lucky you may be able to find an existing Gamespace licence holder willing to sell you their licence because they no longer have any use for their license to Gamespace.
Why you ask would anyone want to use an older modeling software like Gamespace? Well, the short answer would simply be that it rocks in terms of simplicity. It was originally designed for non professional 3D modeling enthusiests to make producing 3D artwork much simpler then professional 3D modeling software like Lightwave and Studio Max. The full version of GS is well equiped with many popular export formats like 3DS, MDL, MD3, MD2, SMD, UT2003 PSK, UT2003 PSA, and my favorite DirectX. There are several other supported formats as well.
