Welcome to Truespace 3D Modeling Tutorials. Use the registration link if you'd like join the forum as a member. Click this link to join our community today. Forum description for new web visitors. This is really just a casual easy going modeling tutorial forum for Caligari Truespace 3D modeling software. It features how to use TS to make 3D models with the software itself. You'll also find downloable files in the form of file attachments to some posts as well a some free 3D models uploaded by forum members. In addition to the main forum it has several sub forums for other Caligari modeling software like Caligari Gamespace 3D. We also have forums for Battlezone II Combat Commander, VRML modeling, and Unreal Tournament modeling plugins for Truespace. The original forum is about a year old now but is still actively maintained by my self as a general teaching aid to other people interested in 3D modleing in general. I welcome you all and encourage interested people to join the forum and share with others what you like about the art of creating things in three dimentional art forms. The forum is under going constant changes to make it more fun and useful for forum members and web users who happen to stumble across us on the Internet. Large Tree Model

This model was pretty easy to make it has a main trunk and branches and 2 textures for the trunk and leaves; I borrowed them from another bush model. The trunk was originally 3 parts that I formed an object union with. I made one part and copied it twice.

Brown Green Vine Plant

This model was extruded from a 5 sided polygon with the Helix tool and recaled to taper it down. The leafs were added from another model and resized along the length of the vine. The model has no textures only material colors in brown and green.

Pine Tree Model

This tree was made from a single cone stretched a bit and has several dozen elongated branches.

This group of 4 Palm Trees are made up of the same model resized at different levels. The leaves were poly draw and bent with the Object Band Tool. The trunk was swept from a simple cylinder and rescaled along it's length.

This plant group model used a simple cylinder for the stem and the leaves are heart shaped and bent.

Prehistoric looking tree.

This tree has 2 shades of green material applied and was made from a swept cylinder tapered down. The leaves were polyline drawn and bent a bit.

This tree is made up of 3 trunk branch assemblies. The leaves are also grouped together on the branches.
