I understand that the person who was updating the BZII XSI exporter has stopped using Studio Max and no longer is compiling the XSI exporter for BZII model makers. Options include using Max version 2011 or earlier, using Tsvetan's XSI importer and exporter for GMAX 1.2; I don't know if these exporters are supported in version above Studio Max 2011 though?

Some current model makers are now using Blender with Vearie's XSI exporter, but as far as I know XSI can not be imported directly into Blender.

Another model making option is using Caligari Truespaces 7.6x modelside aka Truespace 6.6 interface. This option is best suited using the X model exporter of TS and converting these models with 3d Exploration version 1.5 to convert the X models to XSI.

Leroy,
there is a new update of my importer. The guy, who did it, made much effort. I will continue to develop my xsi projects also.

Here's a reference link to what actually seems to have caused the issue. http://bzforum.matesfamily.org/viewtopi ... =16&t=2361
